This is a biggy for me and I'm not even overweight (lost 25 pounds going gluten free). I used to walk 2-4 miles several times a week when I lived in DC. My two fave places were the National Arboretum, 10 minutes from my house and on the National Mall from the Capitol to the Monument and sometimes to the Lincoln Memorial. I'm learning these days that there are indeed many ways to move, but walking will always be my favorite.
