Sorry, I got carried away with the highlights because this is EXACTLY how I feel about our current version of capitalism. It sucks! But you still have to take part in it if you want to put food on the table. At 72, I still have to work because SS doesn't cover it all. Yeah, I didn't plan well for retirement, but does that mean I have to suffer? Universal basic income makes so much more sense.
