Mundane Astrology Helps Me Make Sense of This Crazy, Chaotic World

Let me say up front that I am NOT a professional astrologer. There’s a lot I don’t know about chart interpretation. What I CAN say is that astrology has been a much beloved “avocation” of mine since my teen years.

As a result, I believe I have a pretty good understanding of the archetypes that the astrological signs, planets, and houses represent.

I also understand that astrology doesn’t predict specific, future events. Rather, it highlights the broader, archetypal energies of the collective unconscious at play in individual and world events that are reflected in the signs, planets, houses, and planetary alignments in a birth chart.

These archetypal energies can manifest in multiple ways, making it difficult to predict one, specific event.

I view astrology as a divinatory art , like tarot or dream interpretation, that relies…
