As for being married, I desperately wanted to be in a relationship that lead to marriage from my 20s through late 40s. But all of the men I ever had significant relationships with, except perhaps my daughter's father (I think), cheated on me. I finally said, "Enough!" I've been single for so long now, I wouldn't know how to be in a "traditional" relationship. I need my space!

Finally, Asian women with white husbands is "a thing" here in Hawaii. I even have one Filipina friend who has a white husband tell me that her mom told her not to marry a Filipino man. And she said, "But, mom, you married dad?" Mom replied, "I got the last good one."
