As for the state of the world today, don't give up hope (eternal optimist here and a woo woo '60s Boomer). I see what's happening now as a healing crisis. All the shitty pus that we've been holding on to has to come to the surface first for us to recognize it as the shitty pus it is so we (hopefully a majority) can clear it away to allow something better to emerge.
