Couldn't have said it better! I'm one of those transplant haoles (in the "foreigner" sense of the word) who, along with my daughter, have lived on Oahu for 15 and 23 years respectively. I will definitely be listening and sharing in the days and weeks to come. Just shared a post on FB about reporting land speculators calling Maui home owners to buy their properties. Wrote my first article here on the disaster and will probably be writing more in the days and weeks to come. I'm feeling an overwhelming need to give back. These islands have been good to me.
